Kate is a Senior Partner and Global Leader of Talent Advisory at Mercer. She helps organizations achieve a talent advantage through people and is passionate about driving human/machine teaming. Her expertise lies in people strategy, talent management, assessment/leadership development and HR process design.
Kate commenced her career at American Express, where she focused on new employee orientation and its impact on cultural integration. Her interest in cross-cultural leadership and decision making have been constants throughout her career. At Mercer, she has held practice, office and market leadership positions in multiple countries. Prior to her current role, she was Mercer’s Global Thought Leadership and Knowledge Management leader, and before that, the Talent Strategy and Organizational Performance practice leader for Growth Markets.
As a corporate psychologist, Kate has a keen interest in humans at work and partners with various institutions, including the World Economic Forum, to shape the future of work agenda. She is author of Mercer’s Global Talent Trends study and co-authored the book Work Different: 10 Truths for Winning in the People Age.
Kate is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and holds a Master Degree in Organizational Psychology (City University of London) and an MBA (Macquarie Graduate School in Sydney). She is also a Non-Exec Director at Digital Frontiers, a capacity building non-profit business headquartered in Africa.
Today, she lives in the vibrant city of Brighton in the UK with her husband and two children.Â
